This ReadMe file describes the data format for the MEP-i list data. For details about the MEP-i instrument and the list data, please see the instrument paper, Yokota et al. (2017). Yokota, S., Kasahara, S., Mitani, T., Asamura, K., Hirahara, M., Takashima, T., et al. (2017), Medium-energy particle experiments-ion mass analyzer (MEP-i) onboard ERG (Arase), Earth, Planets and Space, 69(1), #172, https://doi.org/10.1186/s40623-017-0754-8 List data of MEP-i are available primarily for calibration, produced by all three modes: Normal, TOF, and SSD modes. The data are composed of a sample of events (measurements of incident ions), up to 10 events per energy step of a specific spin phase. The list data for each event includes time, the numbers of spin-phase (Phase) and anode (corresponding to azimuth (AZIM) direction), the number of sweep-voltage step (SV), the number of Time-of-Flight channel (TOF) from the TOF analysis, and the number of pulse-height channel (PH) from the solid state detector (SSD) analysis. The data file lists, from left to right, the universal time (UTC) of the event in YYYYMMDDHHMMSec format and the numbers of Phase, SV, Anode (AZIM), TOF, and PH. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules of the road for the data: https://ergsc.isee.nagoya-u.ac.jp/data_info/erg.shtml.en Contact: erg_mep_info@isee.nagoya-u.ac.jp If you have any questions or are interested in using the list data, please contact us at erg_mep_info@isee.nagoya-u.ac.jp. -------------------------------------------------------------------
