- For the FGM data, level-2 survey data at 8 or 16-Hz sampling are plotted.
- For the FPI data, level-2 fast survey data (v3.1.0 or 3.1.1) at 4.5-s resolution are plotted.
- For the spacecraft potential data, 10-s averages of the level-2 survey data are plotted.
- The electric current J is computed by the curlometer technique [e.g., Dunlop et al., JGR, 107(A11), 1384, 2002] based on the FGM magnetic field measurements; |div B|/|rot B| is the ratio between |div B| and |rot B|, both estimated by the curlometer technique, and can be used as a quality measure of the current estimate.
